I don't fit neatly into one job title, and that's deliberate. I design interfaces in Figma, build them in React and Next.js, wire up the backend in Node.js, and when a project calls for something a browser can't do — I write it in Rust.

On the front end, I work mainly in TypeScript and JavaScript, building with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS — usually paired with shadcn/ui for clean, accessible components and Framer Motion when an interface needs to feel alive rather than static. I care as much about the HTML/CSS fundamentals underneath as I do about the framework on top, because a fast, semantic, well-structured page is what makes everything else — animation, responsiveness, SEO — actually work.

On the back end, I build APIs and services in Node.js and Express, sometimes in PHPwhen a project's stack calls for it, and I'm comfortable across both relational and NoSQL data — MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for structured and document data, Redis for caching and real-time state, Prismaas my ORM of choice, and Supabase or Firebase when a project needs a managed backend fast. I design schemas the way I design interfaces: for clarity first, performance second, and never one at the expense of the other.

When a problem needs to live outside the browser, I reach for Rust and Tauri to build lightweight, native-feeling desktop apps, and React Native for cross-platform mobile work. For native Android specifically, I build with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose— the offline-first apps I've shipped for small businesses run entirely on Room/SQLite, no internet required, no excuses for downtime.

A good chunk of my work also lives inside Discord: bots built on discord.js v14that do real infrastructure work — automated subdomain provisioning through the Cloudflare API, server setup automation, AI-moderated image pipelines, custom security and threat-scoring systems. Automation, for me, isn't a side skill; it's the same engineering discipline as a production API, just running on a different platform.

Underneath all of it sits the infrastructure layer most people never see: Docker for containerizing services, Nginx for routing and reverse proxying, Cloudflare for DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection, Vercel for shipping front ends fast, and Linux servers I manage directly over SSH through Termius. I use Git and GitHub to keep all of it versioned, reviewable, and recoverable — and Postman to make sure every API actually does what it says before it ships. On the design side, everything starts in Figma, with Photoshop for image and asset work when a project needs it.

That range shows up in the work: e-commerce dashboards, real-time Discord automation, offline-first mobile apps for small businesses, and desktop tools built with Tauri. Different surfaces, same standard — interfaces that feel intentional, systems that don't fall over.

Most of what I build starts as a real problem for a real client — a travel office that needed offline accounting, a hosting business that needed its Discord automated end-to-end, an Islamic content platform that needed to serve hundreds of thousands of users reliably, and a 48,000-member design community that needed both a brand and the bot infrastructure to run it.
